The Regional Sales Account Manager is responsible for selling Ashworth conveyor belts, monitoring systems and service to food manufacturing and can making companies in the North-Western US. The job’s purpose is to develop and grow strategic relationships with customers through excellent sales and communication skills. Integrity, vision, and passion are essential for this role.
The position will generate revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders through auditing conveyor system health and recommending conveyor replacement and technical service needs. Individuals must have excellent customer service, technical expertise and a thorough understanding of the customer’s expectations. The individual is expected to provide technical assistance for conveyor belt selection, prospect and qualify new customers and will collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, Sales, and Finance.
Individuals must have industrial equipment or conveyor sales in the food, beverage or logistics industry and/or technical service expertise in any of those industries.
Degree or Diploma in a technical field and/or an equivalent combination of education and technical sales experience in a manufacturing environment. Mechanical or electrical engineering degree a plus.
